HHP Releases A New Single After Long Hiatus

Jabba returns with a new single.

South African rap veteran Hip Hop Pantsula (aka HHP, aka Jabba) just released his first single in over a year. The last time we heard from the rapper was in 2016, on the song "Ngotha," featuring Kenya's Lon Jon.

Today, the rapper unleashed a song called "Kea Jelwa," which is a tongue-in-cheek take on when you get the feeling your partner is cheating on you. The song features BFB, and is vintage HHP, with lounge and kwaito flavors–the sound the rapper popularized on his extensive discography.

We feel sorry for for Jabba and BFB that their partners might be cheating on them, but we are grateful for a new song from the legend, who won a Life Achievement award at the South African Traditional Music Awards last year.

Jabba's 10th studio album, which "Kea Jelwa" is taken off of, is coming sometime this year.

Stream "Kea Jelwa" below, and download it here.
