Say hello to Troublemaker, alter ego of Queen of Katwe star Lupita Nyong’o. The rap star now known as Troublemaker made her official debut over the weekend with a dope take on the Nas classic “NY State of Mind,” which Nyong’o shared on her Instagram.
“Mexican-born, Kenya running through my veins/Dark chocolate, plus I keep a sharp mane/Lancome fresh face, looking tailor made/Disney on the books, so you know I stay paid,” raps Troublemaker/Nyong’o. The lyrics were penned by MC/actress Robyn Hood, aka Miriam A. Hyman.
