Maleek Berry returns with the highly-anticipated follow-up to last year's successful "Last Daze of Summer" EP and he's keeping with his seasonal theme.

The Nigerian producer and singer dropped the "First Daze of Winter" EP, which has already produced some memorable jams like "Been Calling" and "Pon My Mind."

The artist toldBBC 1Xtra that the sound of the EP is, in fact, a reflection of its title. Whereas Last Daze of Summer gave us bubbly, colorful jams, his latest is thematically moodier.

"The whole concept behind the EP is that it's a lot darker and it's a lot warmer. I'm a lot more emotional on the songs and a lot more vulnerable."
