Okayafrica is proud to be teaming up with our channel partners Okayplayerfor an official SXSW showcase night on March 21. The show, which will close out the 3-part Okayplayer House series, will feature a performance from French-Cuban twin sisters Ibeyi, the duo of Naomi & Lisa-Kaindé Díaz whose hypnotic blend of Yoruba influences, downtempo hip-hop & electronic sounds just got its XL Records debut.The sounds of the night will be held down by South African bacardi house pioneer (and Fantasma member) DJ Spoko and Cape Town producer Fever Trails on the decks in between acts. Highlights also include sets from Seattle experimental hip-hop/R&B duo THEESatisfaction, BADBADNOTGOOD, Hiatus Kaiyote, and more!

The 3-night Okayplayer House showcase series— presented alongside Okayfuture, global beat collective Soulection, and Serato — will also feature performances by Salva, Brenmar, Goldlink, ESTA, and IAMNOBODI.
