BROOKLYN—Join OkayAfrica, Everyday People and Electrafrique for the annual Fourth of July edition of EVERYDAY AFRIQUE. The rooftop party will be held at Output in Brooklyn. Tunes will be spun by DJ mOma, DJ Underdog, DJ Moniki, Kashaka, and DJ Rich Knight. Purchase tickets here.

NAIROBI—A special edition of 2 Many Siblings' Thrift Social will be held this Saturday, July 1 at The Alchemist, Westlands. 'Future Trends" featuring African Digital Art's Jepchumba and the British Council, will focus on "sustainable fashion, upcycling, architecture and tech." Check out the event flyer below.

WASHINGTON D.C.—The Jollof Festival, hosted by Ankara Bazaar, takes places on Sunday, July 2. Jollof rice from Nigeria, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Ghana and elsewhere will be served. LONDON—Afro-Caribbean restaurant Jamma Rekk, which we listed as one of the best in London, will introduce a new weekly market starting this Saturday, July 1. There will be several dishes on sale and music provided by local DJs. Register for the event, here.

ACCRA—The "African Changemakers Summit" is going down this Saturday, July 1 at Impact Hub in Accra. The purpose of the conference is "to celebrate and highlight the achievements of young changemakers across Ghana." Admission is free, but space is limited. You can RSVP for the event, here.
