Based On This Sneak Peek, OkayAfrica's 'Riddim & Beats' Is About to Be Lit Tonight

OkayAfrica's 'Riddim & Beats' goes down tonight at Lincoln Center in NYC—here's a sneak peek of a show you can't miss featuring D'banj.

If you're in NYC, join us tonight at Lincoln Center for OkayAfrica's Riddim & Beats.

Damrosch Park will be filled with the funk of West African beats and the rhythms of Caribbean carnival. Nigeria’s Kokomaster D’banj and Jamaican-born reggae star of the ’80s Sister Nancy join forces to summon the essential elements of carnival culture—music, costume, and dance—alongside eclectic London afrobeats band, The Compozers. The Carnyval Dancers will turn the stage into a vivid, colorful mash-up of African and Caribbean cultures in the heart of the city.

Click here to RSVP, and take a look of what to look forward to in the sneak peek from rehearsal below.

Did we mention this is a free show? It's about to be lit!
