Mazi Chukz premieres If Not Now

British-Nigerian artist Mazi Chukz has a knack for writing ear worms. He'd previously caught our attention with the infectious "Dem Hail," alongside Maleek Berry.

The singer is now dropping his brand new EP, If Not Now, here today. The release runs through seven tracks that seamlessly blend 808 beats with afropop, dancehall, kizomba and, even, Latin American-inspired guitars. If Not Now also boasts contributions from L.A.X, Kojo Funds, Dylema, and Shay La Rose.

“This EP is everything to me, it’s been a long time coming and I'm very proud of the work," mentions Mazi Chukz. "Putting everything together hasn't been easy, there has been roadblocks, doubters and self doubt. However I kept pushing myself to create, I felt that I hadn't shown enough of what I can do.”

Omo Frenchie's "Makelele" remix

Here's another heater from London. Congo-born, UK-based afrobeats artist Omo Frenchiesteamrolls through with this new remix to his single "Makelele."

The "Makelele" remix follows in the vein of Frenchie's previous hit "Celé," blending a catchy vocal hook into this dance floor jam's backbone. He's joined by K Weezy and Jaij Hollands of Iray Movement on this new version of the track.

Stanley Enow's new soccer rhythm

Cameroonian star Stanley Enow kick starts his "Afro Series" with his high-energy single "Follow Me."

"It is an Afro and very festive song with a soccer rhythm making it very appealing to celebrate victory," Enow mentions. It's also dropping just days ahead of the Female African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Lola Rae and Davido connect for "Biko"

Lola Rae recruits none-other-than Davidofor this "epic love story shot in the historic town of Epe," their team mentions.

"Biko" sees both singers serenading each other over a reggae-tinted beat. The production is on-point, but the real stars here are the dance moves being thrown down in this new music video.

Davido's been big on the collaborations lately, most recently dropping a huge tune with Tinashe.
