20-something South African-born trumpeter and composer Lwanda Gogwana revisits one of his earlier compositions 'The Calling" from his acclaimed debut album Lwanda Gogwana Songbook: Chapter 1. Inspired by American horn player Roy Hargrove's fusion of jazz and contemporary music, Gogwana re-recorded the song with a collective of jazz musicians under the name the LG Factor. The band features Ludwe Danxa on keyboards, Tseke Malatji on electric bass, Nicholas Dlakavu on drums, John Hassan on percussion and Gogwana on flugelhorn.
