Forbes Magazine just released its 30 Under 30 List 2018, and some of our favorite young African talents made the cut.

The list, which the magazine calls an "annual encyclopedia of creative disruption," features young folks making waves in a number of industries, including tech, commerce, media, art, food, policy, entertainment and more.

Forbes detailed their tedious selection process:

"Selecting these youthful visionaries is a year-round obsession: We vet thousands of nominations, leaning on the collective wisdom of our online community, ace reporters and a panel of A-list judges. Now in our seventh year, with a 4,000-strong alumni network that spans the globe, this list continues to spotlight the impressive, the inspiring and the (genuinely) enviable."

Some of this year's standouts include 17-year-old Ugandan actress and star of Queen of Katwe Madina Nalwanga, 23-year-old Ghanaian actor and modelKofi Siriboe, 29-year-old Rwandan refugee and energy CEO Robert Kabera, 29-year-old Ethiopian legal fellow Tsion Gurmu, 22-year-old Nigerian engineer Iyore Olaye, Ethiopian Senior Editor at Huffington Post Black Voices, 26 year-old Lilly Worknehand more.

The 26 year-old Nigerian creator of mobile app, Flutterwave, Iyin Aboyeji.who we spoke to back in August, also made this year's list. And the 29-year-old, Ethiopian visual artist behind Beyoncé's viral maternity shoot, Awol Erizku, also made the cut.
