Though we didn’t get the chance to make it to STR CRD ’11 — an urban youth culture event that went down in Johannesburg in September — we sure felt like we were part of it somehow thanks to the interwebs. STR CRD (Street Cred) started off last year in Cape Town showcasing anything and everything that makes up young city vibes, from streetwear right down to skateboarding. This year it was way bigger and better with all the blog campaigns and (more) international urban culture ambassadors like Levi Maestro and Va$htie making appearances and sharing their experiences with the folks.
