NEW YORK CITY—The month-long New York African film festival, continues this weekend with movie premieres on both Saturday (May 20) and Sunday (May 21) at Maysles Cinema. Check their website for show schedules and ticket information.

ACCRA—Java Lab's "Women Who Code" event will do down this Saturday (May 20). The event takes place monthly and offers workshops for women who are learning to code. More details here.
