Short Film El Khateeb Pays Homage To Vintage Egyptian Cinema

A mesmerizing short film titled El Khateeb has surfaced online. Described as "a short music film that pays homage to the golden age of Egyptian cinema," the black and white film from Egyptian-American director Wesam Nasser is a dramatic affair that features a haunting score from Lebanese alternative band Mashrou3 Leila. The ten-minute short is the latest from boutique production house Eshmawi.
