Rocky Dawuni appointed "Ghana's Tourism Ambassador" + show at Hollywood Bowl

The Ministry of Tourism has appointed Ghanaian music star and NAACP Image Award Nominee Rocky Dawuni as "Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador." The ceremonial appointment took effect on April 11th, 2011. In accepting this new role, Dawuni stated, “I am prepared to do my utmost to broadly portray Ghana and its rich heritage through my music, concerts, humanitarian work and appearances worldwide.” The reggae musician has a slew of upcoming European, African and U.S. live dates, including a scheduled guest performance alongside Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae & other global stars backed by The Tonight Show's Ricky Minor Band at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on July 24, 2011.
