Over the years, veteran producer and rapper Mozaik, also the CEO of Claiming Ground Records, has bagged a number of awards at the national Tihlabani Awards, including Hip Hop Artist of The Year (2010) and Producer of The Year (2011). He has produced for– and through Claiming Ground contributed to the growth of– an impressive list of Swazi artists, including Nomalungelo (of “Imiyalo” fame), Psycholution, Crax and Qibho Intalektual. Mozaik’s style of production ranges from mellow key-driven instrumentals to 808-heavy beats, and his potency on the mic is unquestionable.
