Juls "Gwarn" feat. Burna Boy

UK-Ghanaian hitmaker Juls and Nigerian star Burna Boy connect for the ultra-smooth new single "Gwarn." The dancehall-influenced beat here is pretty much perfect, it plays like butter, and Burna's delivery is right on point. Looks like we got a new hit on our hands.

Shaydee "Make Sense" feat. Wizkid

Nigeria's Shaydee recruits the Starboy himself Wizkid for this laid-back new afrobeats single, "Make Sense." The video expresses how calm and cool the song is," Shaydee tells Fader, "It was born out of spontaneity which I feel is always the best way."

Wax Dey "Better" feat. Mr. Leo

Wax Dey and Mr. Leo—two of Cameroon's finest—link up in this new music video for "Better," which also features Cameroonian actors Onyama Laura and Nchifor Valery. "Better" is a highly-catchy and positive track about life simply improving. Make sure to grab Wax Dey's album, 360 Degrees, which is full of these gems.

M.I Abaga "You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives"

Nigerian star M.I Abaga returned with a punch, taking aim at all of his fellow Nigerian rappers. "You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives" has sparked a large debate about the current state Nigerian hip-hop.

The GTW "Sonshine"

The GTW makes music influenced by his Chicago and Nigerian backgrounds—he calls it "Chigerian." His latest drop, "Sonshine," is a total head-nodder that sees him blending Chicago ghetto house and UK rave chords. The GTW mentions that the lyrics are about finding a balance between "a thirst for both spiritual and emotional fulfilment."

Nova "Heartless"

Rising Nigerian artist Nova sings about heartbreak in his Doozybeatz-produced single "Heartless." The melancholic track now has a hazy new music video, which you should check out above.

Mazi Chukz "Rotate" (prod. by Maleek Berry)

Lastly, London-based Mazi Chukz enlists star producer Maleek Berry for this addictive party starter of a tune, "Rotate." Start your weekend early with this one above.
