Arsenal Just Signed a Sleeve-Sponsorship Deal With Rwanda

"Visit Rwanda" is now the tourism partner for Arsenal.

Arsenal has seen many changes as of late. Just last month, long-time manager, Arsene Wenger who was responsible for signing many of the league's African players, left the club. Today, the club has announced a new partnership with Rwanda's Tourism board.

The Rwandan Development Board (RDB) has signed a three-year sleeve sponsorship deal. "Visit Rwanda" will be displayed on the sleeve of Arsenal club jerseys.

"We're thrilled to be partnering with Arsenal and showcasing the vibrancy and beauty of our country," said Clare Akamanzi, the CEO of the Rwandan Development Board.

The Rwandan tourism board hopes that the visibility of the sleeve will help encourage travelers to visit the country's many national sights. "The Arsenal shirt is seen 35 million times a day around the world," said Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal's Chief Commercial Officer in a statement.

Arsenal is the sixth biggest soccer club in the world, reports CNN.
