Caster Semenya Wins Gold and Breaks 1500m Record at the Commonwealth Games

The South African powerhouse athlete continues to make a statement in track and field.

Caster Semenya is unstoppable and we can't help but be proud.

The South African athlete obliterated the women's 1500m record at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, snatching the gold medal at 4:00.71.

Semenya coasted comfortably during the race and made her move with 300m left, The Guardianreports. She overtook Kenyan athlete Beatrice Chepkoech, who finished second. Wales' Melissa Courtney came in third place.
