Film: The Rhythm of My Life: Ismael Sankara

The Rhythm Of My Life: Ismael Sankara is a 20 minute musical short documentary that tells the story of how a young Burkina Faso-born American rapper and two Gabonese beatmakers meet in an unlikely manner and change the course of their careers. Filmmakers Franck Onouviet and Marc Tchicot, capture a wonderful story of this chance meeting and the music that comes from these authentic artists. Audience award winner at the 7th edition of the European Independent Film Festival in Paris (after projections at the Cannes festival, the BET UrbanWorld in New-York and the CinemAfrica in Stockholm), the documentary is, since April 30th, available for streaming in its entirety HERE .
