J Molley's set with keyboardist Theofilluss on his Unplugged Sessions consists of four songs. The set consists of familiar songs from his latest EP Leader Of The Wave: A Playlist By J Molley, "Sinister," "Lightning" and "Shifted." He also performs an unreleased song titled "Shifted."
The singer and his keyboardist (who also doubles as a producer) strip the songs down to just bass, keys and rhythm. They maintain the same bassline and 808 drums as heard on the recorded songs. By so doing, they ensure the grit and texture of the songs as we know them is not lost.
Just like most of his peers, J Molley creates his own platforms. The performance is the first episode of a show called J Molley Unplugged Sessions. The artist has been sharing his journey and taking fans behind the scenes on his NeverBroke Daily show, which has been running since January of this year on YouTube.
J Molley is one of the country's fastest rising stars, and has proven his prowess multiple times with his EPs (Dreams Money Can Buy and Leader of the Wave), singles, performances and show-stealing guest appearances.
