Watch Nadia Nakai and Tshego’s Gory Music Video for ‘More Drugs’

Watch Nadia Nakai's new music video for "More Drugs" featuring Tshego.

Nadia Nakai's latest music video is reminiscent of a Quentin Tarantino movie. From the vintage film color scheme and grading to the gory scenes—in one scene, Nadia is literally taking a bloodbath.

In the clip, which was directed by Studio Space Pictures' Alessio Bettocchi and Jiten Ramlal, the South African rapper pulls up in a vintage car which we later find out has a dead body in the boot which she has tasked herself with disposing of.

In the song, Nadia and her collaborator—singer and rapper Tshego—speak of a relationship that went wrong. Tshego sings in the hook:

"We were better when nobody knew us/ Then you started changing when I blew up/ You been getting loose, and now it's screwed up/ Sippin' D'usse while I throw the deuce up"

Nadia raps in the first verse:

"As a man you were meant to protect me/ Why you let these bitches disrespect me?/ Knowing damn well that would affect me/ I let you hit it raw, it could infect me/ I thought I told you not to go embarrass me"

"More Drugs" is the latest single from Nadia Nakai's debut album Nadia Naked, which was released in 2019. Alongside Tshego, the project featured the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana, Stefflon Don and Lady Zamar. Previous singles from Nadia Naked include "Amai," "Naaa Meaan" and "Imma Boss."
