Nigerian Menswear Brand Tzar Shares 'Joy Ride'-Inspired Resort Collection

Ian Audifferen's Nigerian menswear brand Tzar shares a quirky 2015 resort collection inspired by a 'Joy Ride' while holidaying.

Nigerian designer Ian Audifferen says Tzar, his Lagos-based label, is inspired by "the ethos of the metrosexual man that focuses on changing the conventional face of men's fashion with its quirky designs, construction, sharp silhouettes and resplendent prints. It's all about incorporating elements that represent both form and functionality." With their resort 2015 collection the brand continues to craft quirky, conceptual-driven menswear.

After dropping an entire wardrobe inspired by exotic birds last year, Tzar now looks to the thrill of a Joy Ride for their latest line of shirts. "This particular collection was created based on a the sights and images encountered on a joy ride while holidaying," Audifferen told Okayafrica. "My favourite elements of monochrome and bright hues come into play, vivid prints and a mash up of sporty ensembles with oversize laid back t-shirts and sweatshirts."
