South African 'noir wave' producer Petite Noir (aka Yannick Illunga) has revealed some info about his upcoming The King Of Anxiety EP on Domino Records/Double6. The 5-track EP will be lead by the single & video for "Chess" (you can check out a teaser from the video below) and will include the previously featured "Till We Ghosts." The release also boasts track with Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), (ed: that track is no longer on the EP) which will come as no surprise to some after news of their studio time together in Cape Town surfaced earlier this year. Yannick told us the following about the EP, "All I got went into this. Blood, sweat and real tears went into making this. This is Noirwave. It's a rebirth... The King of Anxiety... [I] recorded and scrapped a lot of songs and kept the best ones." Lead single "Chess" and EP pre-orders will be available November 24, that's the cover art above.
