STR.CRD is set to return to Johannesburg's Constitution Hill in November for its fifth round of "Fashion, Music, Sneakers, Graffiti, Skate, Dance, Photography, [and] Culture" bliss in one spot. In related news, registration is open for Engagement Now's Brand x Culture Conference to be held 5-7 November at Alex Theatre in Joburg just ahead of this year's STR.CRD. On the roster of keynote speakers are Erin Patton (Dallas/Fort Worth), Jeff Carvalho (NYC), Lisa Hogg (Netherlands), Stanley Lumax (NYC), Arno Smit (Stockholm), and Emma Stenstrom (Stockholm). The Brand x Culture Conference is the first conference by Engagement Now and is the first of many interactive workshops and conferences planned for 2014 and 2015. Taking place at Alex Theatre from 5-7 November 2014, this is the first conference of its kind – intended to create an inclusive forum for culture industry practitioners and brands to exchange knowledge of current and emerging practices and trends.
