During a performance of her hit single 'John Cena', the man himself showed up and Sho Madjozi's reaction was priceless.
South African rapper Sho Madjozi is still riding the high of her hit song "John Cena". After her performance on A COLORS SHOW, she officially released the single towards the end of September. More recently, she appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show and during her performance, John Cena himself showed up and surprised her. Her reaction was priceless!
As Sho Madjozi does her thing on stage, John Cena enters onto the stage from behind. The audience starts cheering more than usual although Sho Madjozi is still unaware. While John Cena does his own little dance, the rapper then realizes who's standing next to her and completely freaks out. "What do you mean? You said he's not here," she screams excitedly at Kelly Clarkson. The two then go on to share an embrace and talk about the song and its success.
Sho Madjozi's "John Cena" is more than just an ode to her favorite wrestler. It speaks to the significance of wrestling in South African culture especially. The #JohnCenaDanceChallenge, in which John Cena even took part, was testament to that and largely why the challenge became so popular among South Africans on social media.
