Amaal Glows In Her New Music Video for 'Coming & Going'
The Somali-Canadian songstress gives us a dreamscape track and music video that doesn't disappoint.
Amaal's latest single is a continuation of her ethereal sound and aesthetic.
The Somali-Canadian singer recently dropped the music video for "Coming & Going" directed by Kat Webber. In the clip, we see her surrounded by doves and bird-like motifs in and around a home surrounded by lush greenery. Amaal soothes us with a reflective track with her dreamy voice, pondering the push and pull of love.

We can also anticipate an EP from Amaal soon. "I feel like it's about myself. With a lot of my music, the narrative centers around 'people,'" she says in an interview withEarmilk. "Being a refugee, being an immigrant, being raised in an area that was reflective of that [experience]…I feel like this is just a little more honest [about] my heartbreaks and things I've been through."
