Here are the new amapiano songs and music videos that caught our attention this month. Read ahead below for the latest hits and noteworthy tracks from the South African electronic genre taking the world by storm.

Uncle Waffles "Solace"

The globally sought-after Uncle Waffles released her third EP in less than two years since breaking into the scene. According to the DJ, mostly revered for her energetic sets, the EP is a sequel to her last project, Asylum, and is the calm to the fast-moving journey she has been on. While most of Solace is soulful, the project is carried by the thumping “Peacock Revisit” — which samples Splash’s 80s hit of the same name.

Mellow & Sleazy, Sjavasdadeejay, TitoM "Imnandi lento" ft. Tman Xpress

Mellow & Sleazy continue their streak on the new single “Imnandi Lento” alongside producers SjavasDaDeejay and TitoM. The undoubtedly club-ready song sees the dynamic duo collaborate with vocalist Tman Xpress, who is also featured on their most recent hits, “Kwelinye” and “Amasango.”

ShaunMusiq x Ftears x Daliwonga “Howa You” ft. Myztro and Xduppy

“Bhebha” hitmakers ShaunMusiq and Ftears are back with another one. On the thumping “Howa You,” the duo brings vocalist Daliwonga, who serves as the song’s vocal guest, appearing alongside their frequent collaborators Myztro and Xduppy. The song’s hook is based on a phrase coined by culture enthusiast and promoter Thulani Way.

Major League Djz "All Night Long" ft. Elaine and Yumbs

Globe-trotting duo Major League DJz finally released their first official single since signing with Atlantic Records. On “All Night Long,” the producers/DJs tap into the vocal prowess of Elaine and enlist Yumbs’ proven soulful production capabilities. "We aimed to unveil a single that would deeply resonate with our fans as we usher in the upcoming spring/summer season,” they shared about the song.

Young Stunna x Kabza De Small “uNonkosi” feat. Deeper Phil & Mfundo Da DJ

After a short hiatus from putting out his own music, Young Stunna returns to the scene with the Kabza De Small-assisted “uNonkosi.” In the track, the renowned vocalist demands to be given a seat at the throne over a head-bopping beat. The artist announced this is the lead single to his sophomore album, Busisiwe.

De Mthuda, Da Muziqal Chef, Kwiish SA "iThuba" ft. Eemoh

De Mthuda and Da Muziqal Chef dropped the visuals to their hope-inspiring track “iThuba,” featuring Eemoh and Kwiish SA. The song is the second single from the duo’s Sgudi Sync EP, which dropped in late May. The music video conveys the dream-chasing and seizing opportunities messaging of the song.

Kabza De Small x DJ Maphorisa “Ungiphethe Kahle” feat. Nokwazi, MaWhoo, Mashudu & LeeArt

In honour of National Women's Day, the Scorpion Kings, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa shared a new track featuring an all-women lineup; esteemed vocalists Nokwazi, MaWhoo, Mashudu, and rising DJ LeeArt. “Ungiphethe Kahle,” which loosely translates to “you treat me well,” finds the musicians exchanging serene vocals about their love interest over a soulful backdrop.

Da Muziqal Chef "Akakhuzeki" ft. Eemoh, De Mthuda

The trio that brought us the fun-filled “Sgudi Sync” has done it again on “Akakhuzeki.” The track follows on similar terrains sonically; however, Eemoh cautions about Chef’s unstoppable hit-making ways in this one.

Abidoza 'Phola'

Amogelang Chabangu, better known as Abidoza, wholly dives deep into the soulful route on his new album Phola. The 20-track project is a sonic depiction of the journey to finding the talented producer’s preferred sound, which he has dubbed ‘luxury amapiano.’ To vocally convey his ethos, Abidoza teamed up with legendary musicians Judith Sephuma, KB Motsilanyane, Berita, Phila Dlozi, MaWhoo, and Makhanj, amongst others.

Musical Jazz x Soul Revolver “Gojasi” feat. Kgocee & Tumelo_za

Pretorian-born burgeoning producer Musical Jazz and Soul Revolver finally released their viral trend “Gojasi” (read as ‘gorgeous’) featuring Kgocee and Tumelo_za—the vocalist behind Tyler ICU’s global smash “Mnike.” Before catching one with this banger, Musical Jazz has been putting out music consistently and has worked with Mr JazziQ’s Black is Brown camp.

Sfarzo Rtee 'House of Sgida II'

Ascending producer/DJ Sfarzo Rtee dropped the second installment of his House of Sgida series. On the sequel, however, the producer expands on the bass-heavy sgija sound by introducing elements of Afrotech on the Chronical Deep-assisted “Foreshore Place.” Other guests on the project include DBN Gogo, Kelvin Momo, Mick Man, Mdu aka TRP and Mashudu, amongst others.

Bassie x Aymos “Izenzo” ft. T-Man SA

Bassie links up with Aymos on her highly anticipated single “Izenzo,” produced by T-Man SA. In the thumping ballad, the artists take us back to the foundations of love and its manifestation: one’s actions. The song's lyrical content is also mirrored in its soundscape—simple and resonant, allowing for the vocals to take center stage as the musician's duet.
