Listen to Busiswa’s New Album ‘Summer Life’ Featuring RudeBoyz, Dladla Mshunqisi, Uhuru And More

It's officially Dezemba this side!

South African house singer and poet Busiswa is back with her sophomore album, a year after her debut Highly Flavoured. Fittingly titled Summer Life, the new album spans 10 tracks, and, as you'd expect, will make it impossible for you to listen without shaking parts of your body.

Sonically, Summer Life leans towards gqom, and Busiswa dominates those instrumentals with her larger-than-life personality and presence. As we've grown to expect from Busiswa, she impresses with tongue-in-cheek humor, subtly empowers, and, more importantly, never fails to entertain. The likes of DJ Buckz, RudeBoyz, Zingah, Dladla Mshunqisi, Cruel Boyz, Uhuru, and a few more, make appearances in this 47-minute-long party.

While Highly Flavoured was released by Kalawa Jazzmee in collaboration with Universal Music, Summer Life is released independently under the artist's own company Busiswa Entertainment.

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake, which rattled Mexico City on September 19, was felt as far down as Zapotalito, and the very next morning, its Black, Indigenous and poor Mestizo residents, who depend on the area's handful of lagoons for food and commerce, woke up to an awful smell and that terrible scene of floating fish.
