Africa Writes 2015: The UK's Largest African Literature Festival Is Returning To London

The UK's largest African literature festival, Africa Writes, returns to London in July 2015 with Ben Okri, Hannah Pool and more.

Africa Writes, the UK's largest celebration of African literature, is returning to London this summer. The two day festival will take place July 3-5 with a slew of events at the British Library, including workshops, live poetry performances, book launches, panel discussions, and author appearances. Nigerian literary giant Ben Okri will headline the festival, anchoring a discussion entitled Meditations on Greatness, while British-Eritrean journalist Hannah Pool will host a conversation on African Books to Inspire, where a selection of writers will share their favorite literary works. Writers will also have the opportunity to present their work to publishers during the celebration. Check out the full program for Africa Writes 2015 below.
