Here's a much needed pick-me-up for us all.

Ms. Lauryn Hill recently played the Fela Kuti Tribute concert in Paris on September 8. During that show, she was joined onstage by Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 for a high-energy mash-up of "Lost Ones" with Fela's 1976 classic, "Zombie"—a cutting attack on Nigerian soldiers and the military.

Watch Ms. Hill kick things off with a renewed version of "Lost Ones" in the live video above. The band's gears shift into "Zombie" around a minute-and-a-half into the performance, when Seun comes out with his saxophone and tears the house down.

Lauryn Hill's added dates to her The MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! Concert Series, during which she'll be joined by Seun & Egypt 80.
