In February, Riky Rick hosted one of the best hip-hop events of 2019, Cotton Fest. The inaugural iteration of the festival's lineup managed to strike a balance between established and up-and-coming acts including The Big Hash, Dee Koala, AKA, Nasty C, A-Reece, Moozlie and a lot more.

Today, the South African hip-hop artist shared the event's aftermovie, showing the highlights of the day and a few interviews. Riky also announced that next year, the festival will definitely return.

In a press release shared with OkayAfrica, Riky said:

"Following the highly successful festival this year, it was an obvious move to do it again. Thanks to the support of every single artist, concert goer and even the suppliers we worked with, this festival made history, changed the game in a positive way. We started planning Cotton Fest 2.0 the first week after the show, back in February. 2020 is gonna be on another level."

We believe him. This year's event was a spectacle, showcasing professionalism and a diverse lineup of the country's hip-hop artists.

Riky says in 2020, he plans to bring together "100 unique acts performing on different stages."
