YoungstaCPT just released a new music video for his song "Just Be Lekker." The visuals show the South African rapper mingling with everyday people of his side of Cape Town, his hometown.

A humorous story is nested inside the visuals. YoungstaCPT and his friends (addressed as 'The Kaapstad Naaiers') save a friend of theirs who lives in the opulent side of town. They are called in to "make it lekker," which they do by throwing a mean party.

The music video was directed by Stanley Johns Films.

The upbeat song was produced by Egypt and is the perfect song to kick the year off with. A few days into 2020, a lot has happened already, and it sure will be a long one.

"Just Be Lekker" is one of the few light-hearted songs on 3T, the rapper's debut album which was released in 2019. Most of 3T was songs that takes the listener on a trip into the Cape Town not advertised on tourism brochures.

The 20-track album scooped the Best Album trophy at the South African Hip Hop Awards in December of 2019. 3T was one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year and arguably the decade. After releasing several collaborative mixtapes, albums and EPs and countless mixtapes, fans had waited years for the rapper's debut solo album.
