Cecile Emeke's fly-on-the-wall web series Ackee & Saltfish returns for its second week with an early morning debate between best friends Rachel and Olivia. Emeke, the British-Jamaican filmmaker whose work with Strollingand Ackee & Saltfish has placed a necessary spotlight on the experiences of young black people across the Afro-European diaspora, released the first installment of the series adapted from her short film of the same name last week. In epsiode 2, Emeke takes the show's meandering conversational style to hilarious ends as Olivia expounds on the merits of "back bread" and Marmite while Rachel remains unconvinced.

If you are new to to the series and Emeke's work in general, get caught up by watching episode 1, "The Lauryn Hill Tickets," and subscribe to the full series. Watch episode two of Ackee & Saltfish, "Breakfast," below, and stay tuned for our continuing coverage as episodes become available each week.
