Okayafrica has partnered up with Believe Digitaland French clothing label Babatundeto release African All Stars: The Best Indie & Alternative African Recordings Form 1970 To 2015. The expansive, 30-track compilation features a striking roster of legends alongside contemporary acts, including afrobeat torchbeares Tony Allen and Femi Kuti, Ghanaian highlife legend Ebo Taylor, Ethio-jazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke, 70s Nigerian funk guitarist Harry Mosco, Northern Mali desert blues band Tinariwen, SA ‘guzu’ group Fantasma, London-Nairobi outfit Owiny Sigoma Band, Burkinabé rapper Art Melody, Rocky Marsiano, and Ibibio Sound Machine, and many others.

To mark the occasion we'll be giving away digital downloads of African All Stars for the next two weeks.
