There's no doubt that 'Black Panther,' has already broken barriers in the film industry despite not even having been released yet.

As the first black superhero film from Marvel, "Black Panther" is a major milestone and an uncontested win for representation. This sentiment is not lost on the many black folks who have anticipated the release of the unprecedented movie. For us, it's more than just another superhero film, its an opportunity for us to see ourselves, our blackness, our "Africaness" portrayed on the big screen like never before.

In other words, 'Black Panther" means a great deal to many of us, and folks are taking to social media to share its impact ahead of its release #WhatBlackPantherMeansToMe. It's a delight to see how much the movie has already touched folks.
