The nominees for the 23rd Critics Choice Awards were announced this week, as the ceremony will air on The CW in January 2018.

Jordan Peele and his acclaimed debut feature film, Get Out, received a slew of nominations, snagging "Best Picture," "Best Director," and "Best Sci-Fi or Horror Movie."

Daniel Kaluuya, the Ugandan-British actor and star of the film, has also been nominated for "Best Actor," for his role as Chris Washington.
