Start Your Weekend Early With Shatta Wale's 'Borjor'

The Ghanaian star shares the new track and music video for "Borjor" on his birthday.

Shatta Wale is celebrating his birthday by dropping a new track that's sure to get you in party mode.

"Borjor" is an addictive new song built on a mid-tempo afro-fusion beat work and led by the Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight's vocals about the object of his desire.

The accompanying music video, directed by PKMI, follows Shatta Wale and his friends to a day of swimming and messing around in a pool and mansion.

Shatta Wale recently dropped the level-up anthem "Swizz Bank," he also hopped on the same riddim as Vybz Kartel's hit "Any Weather," produced by Shabdon Records.

Michael Kiwanuka Pays Homage to the Black Liberation Movements of the '60s In New Video 'Hero'

The artist's latest single references some of his personal heroes including Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, Tupac Shakur and more.

British-Ugandan soul singer Michael Kiwanuka drops another single ahead of the release of his forthcoming album, KIWANUKA.

In "Hero" the singer pays homage to the Black Power and Civil Rights movements of the 1960s and 70s. The music video, directed by CC Wade references several Black leaders and some of the artist's personal heroes including Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, Martin Luther King Jr., Sam Cooke, Tupac Shakur, Marvin Gaye and more. It also depicts the FBI's often illegal efforts to stop Black movements and other anti-establishment groups through its Counterintelligence Program, as noted in Rolling Stone.

Watch R2Bees' New Video For 'Yesterday'

Premiere: watch the game show clip from the Ghanaian star duo off their new album, Site 15.

Ghana's R2Bees' just dropped their brand new album, Site 15, late last week.

Their third studio album sees the duo cycling through some addictive tunes with help from the likes of Wizkid, King Promise, Burna Boy, DarkoVibes, Kwesi Arthur and many others.

"Having released our breakthrough single 'I Dey Mad' 10 years ago," R2Bees tell OkayAfrica via e-mail, "Site 15 is a celebration to the growth of R2BEES and African music. Celebrating where everything started for us, in Tema, Ghana (Site 15)."

Today we're premiering the lighthearted game show-style music video for standout album track "Yesterday." It follows R2Bees as they're joined by DarkoVibes and Ovawise and play matchmakers.

Watch Wizkid and R2Bees' New Video For 'Supa'

The Nigerian star and Ghanaian duo share a new music video for their solid collaboration.

Wizkid and R2Bees have previously connected on big songs like "Tonight" and "Slow Down."

The Nigerian star and Ghanaian duo recently revisited their tried and tested musical chemistry in the new single, "Supa," which was produced by Killmatic.

"Supa" builds on a minimal beat work and sparse-yet-addictive melodies to deliver a solid song about love and lust. The single now has a brand new music video, directed by Babs Direction, which follows the crew to the beach.

As he promised, Wizkid's been delivering plenty of music these days, he recently dropped the new single "Gucci Snake" alongside Slimcase and featured on two tracks from Metro Boomin's new album.

He'd also previously shared the much-talked about music video for "Fever" alongside Tiwa Savage, as well as a collaboration with Calvin Harris and Normani.
