This coming month Electronic Africa will be going down in New York City as part of Red Bull Music Academy. The event, which will take place at Brooklyn's Villain, will feature a standout roster of Okayafrica favorites that includes South African shangaan electro pioneer Nozinja, Angolan transgender kuduro queen Titica, SA 'bacardi house' creator DJ Spoko, Egyptian electro chaabi artists Islam Chipsy and EEK, global bass guru Chief Boima, and Brooklyn producer Dubbel Dutch. The performance will mark both Nozinja and Islam Chipsy's American live debuts.
