Julie in Lagos follows Beats 1 on-air host Julie Adenuga as she journeys to her parents' homeland of Nigeria to experience 'Homecoming'—a collaborative cultural exchange of music, fashion and football, hosted by Grace Ladoja, Skepta and Greatness Dex.

The series includes scenes from the 'Homecoming' concert with performances from Skepta,Wizkid and Tiwa Savage as well as UK "afroswing" pioneers like J Hus and Not3s.

It also turns a spotlight on the new generation of Nigerian creatives and features interviews with local game changers like Odunsi the Engine, Santi and Wavy the Creator.

Finally, the series captures the jersey fever in Nigeria before the World Cup and explores the link between fashion and football at the Homecoming pop-up. This housed various local and international brands like Vivendii, Off White, MAINS and Orange Culture.
