Cassper Nyovest has released his fourth studio album A.M.N (Any Minute Now) after a two years hiatus from releasing albums. The album is tied to the rapper's first born child who could be born "any minute now" (hence the artwork).

In true Cassper Nyovest fashion, Any Minute Now, has a bit of everything—the rapper puts his haters in place and self-introspects over a wide range of production styles—boom bap, trap, kwaito and touches of jazz.

Cassper Nyovest is assisted by a plethora of guests, ranging from Anthony Hamilton to Boogie, Zola 7, Samthing Soweto, Langa Mavuso, Tellaman, Youngsta CPT, Busiswa, Nadia Nakai, Khuli Chana, Tuks, Mo' Molemi, Towdee Mac, DJ Lemonka and HHP .

Boogie appears on the piano-laden mellow tune "Thoughts" in which Nyovest shares his private thoughts about the future and notably reveals a conflict with Siyabonga "Scoop" Ngwekazi. He raps, "Now I don't force a smile with niggas like Scoop/ Who don't love me like they say they do/ I can see it in the way that they move." 👀

"Nyuku Remix", one of the album's most anticipated songs, is a motswako posse cut that is reminiscent of the golden years of the subgenre that was popularised by the late HHP, who appears alongside an array of motswakolistas Khuli Chana, Mo' Molemi, Towdee Mac and DJ Lemonka.

"Isinkwa" features the late Pro, and Cassper Nyovest ensures the kasi rap legend's fans won't be disappointed. "Isinkwa" is one of the album's instant standouts as Nyovest renders pristine verses over a nostalgic and mellow instrumental.

AMN is opened by Zola 7 who belts out an emotive hymn on the song "Hlengiwe". The legendary kwaito star appears on the single "Bonginkosi" which appears towards the end of AMN.

"This album is everything to me, I have worked with the best of artists, they each brought their magic to this album," says Cassper Nyovest in a press release. "Zola is an iconic artist, I looked up to him as a young boy growing up in the North West, little did I know I would share the same studio and make magic with him. The biggest prize is my family, I am going to be a father and that is a huge blessing. I look forward to it."
