So it’s election season in the republic at the bottom of Africa. South Africans go to the polls on the 7th of May and right now it’s silly season, from Jacob Zuma telling us a year after the Marikana Massacre that “We have a good story to tell,” to the week-long marriage and then divorce of the Democratic Alliance and Agang. So in the run up to the South African elections, a guide is in order– every major political party, the who, what and the why.
