“The single can be described as nu-kwaito rap” says Jonny Joburg, one half of the South African hip hop experimentalists Spaza$hop Boyz — you might remember them from their eerie music video, "Rehab Tony." Together with rhyming confidante Charlie Macc, the two have just dropped their first single, "Pinki Pinki," off their debut LP Popular Science (Sony/ATV), due for release next month. “The album is quite simply Spaza, meaning everything you need in one place” Jonny says.
