The Voice Nigeria, is returning for a third season, three years after it was initially taken off the air. Many Nigerians took to social media to voice their excitement at the news, while others were skeptical. While the show's first season in 2016 was much beloved by fans and reviewers it's second season in 2017 was received poorly due to a mix of apathy, criticism of the show's production and many other factors resulting in the international singing competition not returning for 2018.
