African women are continuing this year’s football momentum, and OkayAfrica has plenty of options for where you can watch WAFCON games.

Are you not willing to end the football season yet? Then the women at this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) have you covered. Originally scheduled to be held from March 17 to April 3, the Confederation of African Football (Caf) postponed the tournament just twelve days before it was due to start. We’re not mad, though, because we get to continue the football fever for another three weeks. 

Africa’s sixteen best women’s football teams are set to meet in Morocco’s Rabat and Casablanca from July 26 - August 16, 2026. The North African country, which also hosted this year’s Afcon and is set to co-host the FIFA men’s World Cup in 2030, is welcoming the women’s tournament for the third consecutive time.

This year's WAFCON will take place in an expanded format and holds special importance because it doubles up as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, with all four semi-finalists securing a ticket for Brazil.

Morocco and Kenya will kick off the opening game, facing each other in Rabat on July 26. Here’s where you can watch the game and the rest of the tournament live in your respective regions.

Where to Watch

North Africa 

Qatari multinational network beIN Sports has acquired rights to air AFCON and WAFCON across North Africa and the Middle East region (MENA). Viewers across the region will have access via its local and satellite channels, as well as on-demand streaming. Also, in Algeria, state-owned EPTV will air the matches, and Morocco’s state-owned broadcaster SNRT will show matches locally.

Sub-Saharan Africa 

WAFCON 2026 matches are set to air across Sub-Saharan Africa on SuperSport (available on satellite via DStv and GOtv), as well as Canal+ Afrique, New World TV, and SportyTV. Across the region, select matches will also be available free-to-air through national public broadcasters like NTA (Nigeria), SABC Sport (South Africa), GBC (Ghana), KBC (Kenya), and on digital streaming platforms like SABC+ and CAF TV on YouTube.

Across Europe 

Last year, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) reached a historic deal with UK broadcaster Channel 4 for AFCON 2025 to air across its network. This marked the first time the tournament was free to air in the UK, but it did not extend to WAFCON. The official CAF TV YouTube Channel streams WAFCON matches live and free of charge for viewers in the UK and other countries without an exclusive local TV broadcast deal. Across Europe, several local and satellite TV channels will be showing the competition, including Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands, beIN Sports in France, and Sportdigital and DAZN in Germany.

North America

In North America, broadcast rights for CAF competitions, including WAFCON 2026, are held by beIN Sports, beIN Sports en Español and beIN Sports Canada. Viewers in the US can access the beIN Sports channel through live TV platforms such as Fubo (Pro/Elite plans), Sling TV (via the World Sports or Sports Extra add-ons), YouTube TV (with the Sports Plus add-on), and DIRECTV STREAM.
