Audio: Burkinabé Rapper Art Melody's 'Wogdog Blues' [LP]

Listen to an African hip-hop album from Burkinabe rapper Art Melody.

Burkina Faso's hoarse-throated spitter Art Melody just dropped his latest album Wogdog Blues [Ouagadougou Blues] — a 15-track incursion into the dark and raucous MC's world produced by longtime collaborator Redrum and Minimalkonstrunction. We've been keeping heavy tabs on the Burkinabé rapper's eclectic mix of 90s style, African traditions and retro-futurism ever since we saw his standout visuals for "L'eben Est Dans Le Noir." Stream/buy Wogdog Blues below or on his bandcamp and check out the previously featured videos for "Futur" and "Yamb Sabaab."
