South African rapper JimmyWiz kicked off the year with new visuals from his 2019 album Accordin' to Jim. The video for the song "Fatboy Chronicles" was directed by Motion Billy and shows JimmyWiz in his element. It's minimalist with no distractions ensuring you focus on the rapper and his charismatic personality which he displays in his performance scenes and the poise with which he delivers his bars.

When we interviewed JimmyWiz last year about Accordin' to Jim, the MC from the East Rand told us he was planning to shoot videos for all the songs in the project.

"I've actually shot four music videos for the project already," he said. "I'm going to be shooting a music video for each and every song. So, there's five more left pretty much. I'm going to be shooting a short film. From then on, it's just really pushing the project. Me, personally, I want to at least push this project for the next year and a half. Max, two years, maybe. I really want to give it a life of its own."

Accordin' to Jim was one of the best South African hip-hop albums of 2019, and it saw JimmyWiz share his personal story over lush production by long-time producer SP Dubb.

The previous single from the project was the emotive "A Woman Scorned," a song the rapper states is based on a true story, just like all the songs on Accordin' to Jim.
