Caster Semenya is unstoppable and we can't help but be proud.

The South African athlete obliterated the women's 1500m record at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, snatching the gold medal at 4:00.71.

Semenya coasted comfortably during the race and made her move with 300m left, The Guardian reports. She overtook Kenyan athlete Beatrice Chepkoech, who finished second. Wales' Melissa Courtney came in third place.

South Africa has garnered 21 medals so far at the Games—revisit Akani Simbine's recent win Monday night.
