Daniel Kaluuya Has Been Nominated for the 2018 BAFTA Rising Star Award

Ugandan-British actor, Daniel Kaluuya has been nominated for this year's BAFTA rising star award.

The star of Get Out has been shortlisted alongside four other young actors, including Tessa Thompson, Josh O'Connor, Timothée Chalamet, and Florence Pugh. Previous winners include, John Boyega, whotook home the coveted award in 2016.


In December, Kaluuya earned a Golden Globe nomination for best actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy for his role in Get Out. He's also been nominated for best actor at the upcoming Critic's Choice awards.

The breakout star is also set to star alongside Chadwick Boseman, and Lupita Nyong'o, amongst others, in the most anticipated film of the year, Black Panther.

It looks like 2018 is already shaping up to be a tremendous year for the young talent. Give him all the trophies!
