British-Nigerian singer Oyindacontinues her string of steely, black and white music videos with her latest for “Never Enough,” an ambient electro-soul tune about “reaping the benefits of self-validation,” the artist explains to i-D.
The self-directed music video sees Oyinda rocking tailored getups and delivering poised dance moves while encircled by a ring of analog TV sets. The 24-year-old singer mentions that the striking minimalism and performative elements of the video were inspired by Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” "the strength of that performance made me want to do a seamless piece too, but in my own way—a little imperfect with a hint of sci-fi.”
