Stream Kashaka's 'AFROFUTURE MIX'

New York-based producer and DJ Kashaka presents us with his hypnotic new AFROFUTURE MIX. According to the budding beatsmith, the moniker Kashaka was inspired by a hand-held shaker given to him during his stay in Accra, Ghana where he was studying West African drumming. The hour-long mix features music that the producer discovered during his travels through Ghana, like E.L.'s "Obuu Mo" and Joey B's 'Tonga," as well as newer tunes like BIG FKN GUN's "As'Jiki." Kashaka's mix opens and closes with two of his own original productions, the Sekou Batourou Kouyaté-sampling "Mamayoo" and the futuristic rap banger-meets-kuduro "Andruwoid."
