Slim Q
An often overlooked contributor to the Swazi music scene, Slim Q has been rapping and producing since the early 2000s. He produced the Independence Day album by Stealth Independence – a rap crew he was part of circa 2005. Their patriotic “Dlala Swaziland” was well received and even became the theme song to Lindelwa Mafa’s Swazi Rhythm radio show. Slim Q has helped pave a way for numerous artists, including, Mageng’Tsotsi, Ghetto Villah, Paige, NDR, Sisa, Cup and Lollipop and Mageez. He currently has Ghetto Villah, Paige, NDR, Sisa and Stealth Independence signed under his InQgnito music imprint, which he founded in 2004. Though not as active as an artist as he used to be, Slim Q continues to put other artists on through compilations, producing and running InQgnito.
